So WikiLeaks have done it again and they've really done it this time. If you've haven't heard already, they've released heaps of top secret documents from the Pentagon and everywhere else in regards to the war over in Afghanistan, over 90, 000 files dating from 2004 - 2009, have been uploaded and is at everyone's disposal to read. So the world is in the midst of discovering all of the war crimes and injustices during such a dark period, but not just from the US though, it appears that Australia hasn't avoided the firing line either, it seems they've been covering up as well. Obivously the US and others affliated aren't taking lightly either, hoping to find whoever leaked the documents in the first place.
I have to agree, that things such as war crimes shouldn't be kept covered if you knew that you could've prevented it from the beginning. But what is justice in the times of war and could have been avoided anyway? It's a very messy matter, believe me - spending a semester learning about the morality of war, it's ridiculous in defining a justified war. But hey, it's put in place for a reason. Conclusion: WikiLeaks, you redefined national security and intelligence. hmmm you're living up to your name.
